My adventure in painting started in 2008 with this painting of a tree.

Then I tried my hand at miniature paintings 2' x 3" which is the next series of paintings...

This one is based on a photograph my husband Kevin took. I LOVE the photo.

It takes heart to see & create beauty.

I call this once connecting the dots...in an organic way.

Creation Unfolding...

Step One: Imagination - including a bit of star dust sparkle for good measure

Step Two: Add Color - and all of the shades in between. They are ALL beautiful if you take the time to connect with them.

Step Three: Dimension - create depth of space in a circular motion, music helps & more sparkle when the painting calls for it.

Step Four: Step back and reflect - is it done? Does it need something more? Maybe...but for the moment it feels good & that is all that matters.
